KHNDY’s latest track Drip is flirty and seductive, the perfect soundtrack to new romance or a spontaneous fling. Drip was produced by Tahpha who also produced KHNDY’s 2019 project Love Me (previous credits also include contributions to Vanessa Mdee’s album, Money Mondays).
Directed by KHNDY and shot & edited by Luke Musharbash (DOP for KHNDY last two projects: Wole & For You), the DRIP video gives pure, exotic summertime vibes.
KHNDY gives details on the inspiration behind the video:
“When I was making DRIP in the studio, I had an idea of what I wanted the video to look like. The concept was further inspired by a photo set by Island Boi Photography who beautifully used pouring paint on his models. Although the nature of the song is sexual, I didn’t want to use vulgar or overtly sexual imagery, subtlety was key in my approach. I wanted to demonstrate that it is possible to make a video hot and sexy without nudity or provocative behaviour”.
KHNDY is hoping to continue wowing his audiences and someday be a household name in the Afro-swing and wider music industry. Keep your eyes peeled, he has a bright future ahead of him.
